I'm not sure of your exact question, but in my limited experience I have had much better luck with Yank than Vig.

I had a Vig 3600 back around 2005 running behind heads, cam,lt's, Procharged SCD1 with 550 RWHP. I sent it back and had it restalled to about 3K.

Hated it because it was so loose driving at 45 mph or so even after it was restalled.

Switched to a Yank PY3400 in 2007. IMO it was apples and oranges in difference. Much tighter and much more like stock when driving on blvd's etc.

That said, perhaps current Vig converters have been redesigned or not as loose at designated stalls. And the Yank PY3400 is designed for blower cars and a few dollars more in price.

At the time I didn't check Vig for a converter that would compare to the Yank PY3400.

So probably depends more on the application and power adders then to simply compare brands.
