Because its a relatable example. Both are LS engines with only .2 liters of displacement difference. Granted there are other major differences between the 6.2 and 6.0. It was an easy relatable platform with the difference between the LQ's being just pistons to change CR

I have a build 408 lq4 that was set up for boost. 9:1 compression turbo cam and on an on. I ran it for a year while I was saving up for the rest of my turbo build. The motor made 440/440 to the tires and felt strong. It was tuned on the conservative side to let the motor break in. I was used to a basically stock ls1 though for years so of course the new motor felt stronger to me.
