Intercooler pipe size with 2 intercoolers
Wondering what size intercooler piping to run. Going to be about 4.5 feet of cold side piping. The Bov has a 3 inch weld on fitting and the throttle body is just a hair over 3 inch. I'm assuming 3 inch would be fine but have searched and searched and have no definitive answer. 3 inch would be the easiest to fit for sure as I'm going to be running it behind the front bumper. Just wondering if i would gain anything from going bigger like 3.5. Car is going to be a street car looking for 700 plus hp.
Thanks for the help

Going larger adds volume to the system which slows spool and velocity. Both are bad. 2” is likely about right going by the numbers. 2.25" is is what I’d use, 2.5" is overkill, and 3” is retarded overkill. Nothing to be gained over 2.25” IMO at 700-800hp levels with that setup. 3" outlet is fine.
