Default LS9 3 bar MAP on truck intake

I bought the LS9 3bar map sensor. Plan to install where the old MAP sensor goes. The LS9 sensor tube is larger than the truck sensor. Should I just drill it slightly and push in or is there a better way?

Ok, so does anybody know if this is actually a 3 bar zr1 map?? Or is it actually a duramax map? I know the duramax would a direct swap, but is more difficult/dirrerent to tune than an actual zr1 3bar map??

I had the one mentioned above from EFI source. Lasted a summer and gave me fits. Changed out for the Holley 5 bar. Nice piece. Accurate and repeatable. There’s a reason it’s $35.

Will a Holley 5 bar fit into a factory LS3 intake?

Will it be fine and easy to tune for an 18-20psi set up?

.

The sensor I had was areal LS9 3 bar map, 12592525. I returned it and bought the EFI Source LS1 style 3 bar, http://www.efisource.com/shop/ls1-st...ar-map-sensor/, and it fit right in the truck intake, stock location.

Did you read the post of 3 window above? #10 I believe.

Personally never used the EFIsource version, but if it doesnt last long then its not a good option. Ive used aftermarket 2 bar maps and they are junk right from the get go, so now I purchase OE Acdelco and they have been good everytime. Sure $50 or so a pop hurts but its better than spending $35 a few times or popping the motor due to an inaccurate sensor.
