Yeah, I know, just having a shitty day.

Pretty into your build. Although to be honest that coating color choice is not my favorite. Those pipes looked awesome in the raw.

No problem, I understand how it can be at work. As long as you are doing your best and working safely, there really isn't much else that people can say. I try to keep a low profile and ignore any drama too.

It was a tough choice on the aluminum. Once installed on the car and everything in place, they won't be seen much. I didn't want it to oxidize and also thought it may help protect from rock chips. Polished aluminum does have a very flashy look to it though.

this is definetly my kind of built, all done by the owner and custom made, im venturing into the turbo world myself soon its definetly new territory to me so I ended up justing buying a kit, but my next setup will definetly be built by me the way I want it, ive thought about doing the pro mod style setup on my fbody at some point, it looks like it has plenty of inner fender room and if not i can make some

This is something I've been wanting to do for a while and it was fun to learn how to weld and fit pipe.

Yep, when I heard the name of the color, I couldn't help but laugh and think about Saturday Night Live. Looking forward getting this thing going again.

Here's another picture. The plan is to pull the LS1 mock-up engine this weekend and drop the new engine in place.

Plazmaman LS Pro-Series. It was cut for an LS7 in C6 corvette. It appears to fit a C5 too. I'll know for sure this weekend.

I didn't get the new engine installed but did make some progress this weekend finally.

Mock up motor removed.

Holes drilled for oil drain lines.

Thanks. The intake sits up a little and you still see it some. I'll have to get a pic with the right lighting.

Engine installed on Friday! The cradle will be coming back out for cleaning and balancer installation after the front plate is mocked up and installed.

Saturday, I worked on getting the fuel rail height figured out. The intake and rails were originally set up for an LS2 height injector I think. This would put the rear fitting into the firewall and I just don't like the look of the rails sitting high.

I 3d printed a new spacer to get an idea of how much to machine off the spacers that were provided. This will allow the use of the short injectors and drop the rails low enough to miss the firewall.
