Time for Gaskets
Time for Gaskets I'm at the point in the build where my turbo headers and downpipes can start going back on. Is there any reason NOT to go with RTV only, as the seal between my headers/heads and the turbo flange? I've seen many rave about RTV for turbo applications, but never hear why it works.
Options are : gaskets with RTV, gaskets only, or RTV only.
If RTV is preferred, then which one? Orange, red, or copper?

I've never had a leak because I've never assembled them without the copper. It holds up well, you don't need a lot just a light skim around the flange and bolt it it while it's still wet.
