Default Bearings needlessly changed?

Was poking around in the garage, basicly bored. Came across a set of bearings I had saved from a motor inspection last summer. As you can see in the pics, most of the rod bearings look as if they could be repackaged and sold. There are a few that have a miniscule amount of wear on them..... just enough to remove some of the coating (motor seen 7800 more than once by accident). Only reason I changed them is....because I was already there. Just looking for opinions as far as if anyone else sees it the same way (change em just because)....or vice versa. The cam bearings were absolutely perfect, and they are harder to change.... that's the only reason I kept them in.

My only guesses were, it was either due to the pinched oil pump o ring.....or being buzzed to nearly 8k. Car had HORRID oil pressure, was surprised to see the bearings in near perfect condition.

My bearings looked much better than those for sure. If mine looked like that I'd replace them.

I hear ya. Even though they were more than ok to reuse, I just couldn't do it.

Good looking bearing for sure. I'm guessing factory bearings aren't coated?

yeah probably. rod bearings are cheap and the stock bi metal ones are great.

didnt you waste a pinion yoke recently wiping out some tranny bits too?

i'd have to take a peek at the turkey & make sure my bottom end looked okay.

Yeah, destroyed the low roller clutch. Upgraded the intermediate clutch pack while in it. Not worried about this bottom end, has fairly fresh bearings and high end rod bolts. Same ARP 2000s as last time.
