When tuned this summer it was 90 plus degree heat here and after 10+ dyno pulls didn't go over 120 IAT, but I do use water/methanol starting at 6lbs or so...

I have a 17inch or so cheapo derale puller fan on the budget sbc griffin radiator and intercooler placement doesn't seem to bother those temps either... 185 is normal for me

Normal driving in the hot southern summer, I still didn't see much above 100 IAT's...

I don't have inner wheel tubs maybe that has been helping distribute heat?

I would think no wheelwells and/or no hood would help keep things cool.

I wasn't aware you were spraying meth, so IMO your numbers wouldn't really be a very good comparison to non meth users such as myself.

Funny, when I first started running boost, thru the roots blowers and then Prochargers, (carbed) I never gave a thought to intake air temps, never mont. them-once I started mont. them, it became a problem, lol.
