New huron build: suspension, EBC and tire help
Even with base tune, 4lbs it was a smoke show on radials and beastly.
SOTP 11 sec car spinning. with right tires and real boost its 10sec easy but.. looking for some tips to get to a streetable setup.
I have 2002 TA auto, stock 2.73 rear, 3200 stall worked tranny, huron v3 turbo 7875, BTR stage 2 cam, 80lb injectors dual 450 walpro.
currently 18x9.5 rim with 275 conti extreme summer radials and they are useless.
shocks are new konis all around non-adj shocks, stock springs
founders LCA, upper cross, and relocation brackets.
1st gear useless
mid to WOT usless
drift machine.
all good plenty of power but I want dry weather streebility with some safety to to get home in slight wet on way home if it happens. Worse case pull over but I want to have street street fun.
So what is a good spring setup to rotate and hook with 600-700hp?
I just ordered nitto nt05 for the rear in 285-35/18
maybe coilover fronts and adj dampers in the rear?
do I need to change wheels to 10.5 slicks?
I had 16s stock, so maybe 16 or 17 x10" wide replica and throw on a good street drag radial?
what works that can drive to the track and handle wet weather, cautiously?
And a value: I like the 15" wheel size since rubber and wheels are cheaper and only for weekend cruiser or track days.
I will get a boost by gear controller so I am like 3lbs in 1st-2 then gain up to 8-10 range

If I track it I am ok just getting 16" wheel and swapping out to a 255-60-16 or 255-50-27 MT or Hoosier. Ifs its nice out I will drive home on it. But I am really want a safe street tire that I can drive on the street, with 99% no rain but I live in FL so I will hit some water and blacktop occasionally and I will drive slow but still want to be safe.
In dry I would like the tire to perform from a roll at least 20-30 get strong hit at 50-75% throttle at least and be able to mash it from a 50mph roll safely.
I am thinking I will be in the 650HP/TQ range once dialed in.
A good single on the front and a single on the rear (at minimum), along with a good tire on the back of it, will go a long way.
