NA-carb set-up here, but when I had both valve covers tee'd to the intake (similar to stock SBC)
1st pass going down the track, it blew out the dip stick and sprayed oil everywhere....not fun on top end
Now, both covers tied to an oil/air separator, plus a breather/filter in the fill cap....nothing to a vacuum source, just free air....problem gone.
I would like to add a vac-pump to see what, if anything happens.
