Default got to drive Lazarus a little today

Got insurance and a 30 day tag...waiting on INCONTT if it's available. Hooked up my old ball/spring boost controller and it wouldn't make any more than 5 psi. Hmmm....checked all hoses and everything seemed fine but never more than 5psi. I eventually took off the boost controller and decided to see if that was the prob. It seems the spring is worn out from being compressed so long with no action. With no boost sensing hoses attached to the wastegates, it is making 12psi. Yeehaw....now to see what's going on with the tune. my maf is maxing at 58.5 pretty early with the stock MAF. I don't quite remember how but my old car would go to 63 or so. I THINK you can extend the maf curve and get it to read more but don't really remember. I only have 93 octane and the timing around 18-20 and got no KR on a few 2nd gear pulls. I did see the Wideband stay in the 11s and dip to 10.8 or so up top so I am close there. Tomorrow I'll get the g/f to ride and watch gauges for me to get a better idea whats going on and log some atap.
Those motoron 60s are da shiznit. I have never had so much "room" with fueling before. Thanks MM!

your welcome.

if you have a 99* computer like you used to then you can run the g/sec up to 511/12khz.. if you have a 98 computer now then you are out of steam at 11,250hz

you running 12psi on pump and methanol correct?.

i took a dfi guy for a ride in my car and he calculated that with the f/p reference i have fuel for right up to 22psi boost. i have no idea how he calculated it but he is the man when it comes to that stuff. and to think i havent ever run it over 15 yet

I have a the same 2000 pcm..i think I still have my old edit file and will just copy the extended maf table over. I am using my old 8.75:1 motor with the forged pistons. junk ported heads ..arp rod bolts and a 220/224 581/581 cam. I am not using alky yet as I have yet to install the kit. I have a mildly built a4 with the stock 3.23 rear end. I can tell it is costing me some acceleration but I am trying to retain some gas mileage and eliminate some traction probs. You guys have all moved way out of my reach et wise.....I will take the incon as far as I can go and be happy with that...a 10.60 at 130 is the goal....

I extended the maf table to 512 and it now goes to 67-68lb/min at wot. I am going to go drive around and monitor some stuff. I gotta be honest, after driving my dually for 1.5 years with a top speed of 94 mph, I am somewhat nervous in the car....it FEELS like it is hauling *** but my butt-o-meter has been heavily skewed by the 6800lb dually Also, being the 4th, this isn't the weekend to really go out and tune on the skreet

i'll update m y own thread...like me own personal diary The g/f and I drove around and she watched the a/f on the lm-1 and then the MAF flow reported by Scanmaster. She says it hits 68lb and holds..cool...pegging the maf. The lm-1 reported 10.4:1 and then dropped to 10.0 up top. Yeehaw...plenty of fuel.....I will lean it out a bit and see how it does. G/f is gonna follow me down the interstate to see if my top has the dome effect like you see on some cars

David you are so right...I actually was talking to my g/f while I was in the shower toweling off.....got a big ole grin...she says "what?" I said "I'm back!!!" I think my peak timing is 20 and a low of 16-17. I haven't monkeyed with it yet. It's 89 here today and I figured it was gonna have lotsa kr and I'd have to start dropping timing. I'm about to lean the pe vs rpm some to get a/f in the 11s and go for a ride. I'm seeing 12-13psi ...I think the incon intercoolers are pretty decent for the stock kit. I don't have any inner fender liners in yet (will install after paint) so they get plenty of airflow. This fall......hmm...if I max out an Incon setup (supposed to be around 700rwhp) I will be grinnin' like a jackas eatin' briars. I am pretty happy already after only driving 2 -3 days. If it will Mustang dyno 600rwhp...I'll be happy and just try to get it down the track. WHICH reminds me.....I am only getting no KR doing 1 gear pulls....I amy get some with a full 1/4 mile after stuff gets heated. This just aint the weekend (lotsa cops) to get stuff done other than at a track. I'm not ready to get that embarrassed yet. I can hear it now "It looks like **** (current bodywork and no paint)....ahhh and it runs like ****".....know what I mean? I may go to the truck stop tonight and weigh mine. I'm guessing 3800 with me in it
