Default Out of the ordinary Turbo intall

Ok, New to this page, not very familiar with Ls engines. So here we go. I have a rock bouncer build and wanting to get more out of my little lm7. So cam and turbo are the plans. issues are tight fit. Don't go fast enough for IC to do anything so Stage 3 meth injection to take its place. Im looking for quick boost say off of 2800 to 3k. I will post up some pics for people to see what im working with. The sides are to tight and front has clearance down close to crank area, but have double triangulated 4 link that may cause an issue. So really not sure what to go with. My plan was drop in my built 5.4 sohc running a gen 2 tvs but its to wide to fit. So this is what im stuck with. without major chassis mod. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also low boost around 8 to possible 10

if you put the gm blue ls6 valve springs in it and a 78/75 turbo with e85 non intercooled it will double the useable power without touching the cam. I have done it. spools fast and has good power up to 5600 or so . you will think it has two 5.3's in it

Thanks I have been looking for springs. what A/R on it was told by precision to use a 71/75 with .81. Never used a turbo before only supercharged setups. So still learning the lingo

the 78/75 are a china turbo that precision turbo should work great as well. you are not asking for much really . but the use of e85 whould help with no intercooler and meth whould not be needed.

Thanks, yeah e85 will not be a problem. Im robbing parts from my other build. So have 80lb deka with the snow stage 3 injection which netted me 50 more rwhp on the 5.4 at 21# of boost. Had 3 spray ports and would almost ice up the intake.

A turbo setup is going to be hard to fit without poking out of the chassis. Would suck to roll it and bust stuff up. Do you have space underneath by the trans?

I'd go with something small tho like what precision said, maybe even smaller since you very rarely go wot when crawling.

Why not just swap in a cammed 6.0 with some truck heads?

It goes WOT all the time lol. Its more of a bouncer than a low geared crawler. I have room under it no problem. just worried about lag at that point

Is lag really that much concern if always WOT and auto ?

Running a built 4l65e, stock stall. which will be swapped out for a stall as well. looking at moving rad to the back of the buggy and will have plenty of room up front then.

Cost of a supercharger setup is only reason. I prefer SC for instant tq. This summer may try to get my 5.4 to fit. Ive got 12k in that motor making around 900bhp.

I found an adapter to go from my 5.4 to the 4l65e and putting in the trans go manual shift kit this weekend so no ecm needed.

Me too, I would use my built 4r100 but belly is to wide for the atlas transfer case. It hopefully will be fine for its use. If not ill build one that will.
