On my setup 44mm gate on only 1 bank. I have had it on 2.5 psi with no creep issues at all, its an lq4 with on3 7875. So only venting 1 bank will work for most, YRMV.
However if i were you i simply add another pipe to the other bank and Y it in. Seems like that would be the best option for you and should nearly guarantee smooth boost control
