Oil return location, below fill.

Oil return location, below fill. I am running the 302-2 Holley pan, plumbed the return near the starter. I dumped in 4 qts (need to find out what the pan holds) and I saw a puddle under the car (return line not hooked up). It appears the return will be below the oil level when full. With the engine running it may not, not sure how much circulates in the engine. I wonder if this will be a problem. Orig I was going to plumb it in the front cover, but didn't have enough of it together to see what's in the way. Anyone plumbed their return below the fill level?

That's close to where mine is, as I remember the hole kind of split the baffle.
To far forward and I think the tie rod was close. I have a build on here, the last page has a pic of where it is.
