Default Boost leash issues

So I was dyno tuning my turbo truck yesterday and I was having issues with my boost leash I could not get sorted out. The truck makes around 9 psi on the wastegate spring...if I setup the boost leash for time 0.0, rate 01, psi 2 I should see around 11psi of boost.. am I correct on this? Anyways I did that thinking that was what was going to happen and I saw 20 psi of boost at 5000rpm and let off quickly it seemed that it was going to climb to the sky. So I tried it again with co2 gate pressure at 1 watching more carefully and same thing happened...let off at 16psi and it was climbing rapidly. Any idea on what is going on here? I have my co2 reg set around 15-20 psi (not sure how accurate that is due to a 200psi gauge on the low side). Any input would be appreciated

I think your going to have to provide some more info on how you have your stuff plumbed.

I have manifold pressure to bottom of gate and both solenoids plumbed into one port on the top of the gate with a tee and another top port plumbed into the boost leash gate pressure sensor

Your decrease solenoid is properly vented to atmosphere?

what does the controller record in gate pressure during the pull?

Yes the solenoid is vented to atmosphere and on the log it actually shows 2 psi gate pressure as the boost is climbing then when you let off it drops to zero.. I have done some more reading and it seems most people run 50-80psi on the regulator wonder if mine was just set too low? Strange

I know this is from 7 years ago, I doubt anyone will see this but what are the chances that anyone has come across this? Or any chance the author got this figured out? I’m having the same issues
