CAM - Stick or Twist?
I’ve been running my stock LS1 engined Cobra for about 8 years with a Thunder Racing reverse split Cam (230/224, 111LSA). 2 years ago I fitted a ProCharger P1SC and it’s running well/a total hoot to drive!
My Slave Cylinder gave up today which means I will be pulling the engine out shortly (man maths is about to kick in)...
It feels like a good time to move from the N/A Cam into a Blower Cam, but my question is...should I? Will it make a noticeable difference? Is the current Cam strangling the engine or will any change only be marginal?
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Jim
