Anyone know this car?
I took my 91 camaro with an 8-71 sbc 427 for an oil change at pep boys cause i was lazy as hell a couple times. I hated jacking that bitch up cause it had 4" side pipes and it sucked getting to the frame for jack placment. Lol. Maybe hes lazy like me.
Come on we were all 10 dollar dumb lube techs or equivlent at some point. Honestly most if not all techs i have worked with would treat a real badass car with more respect then most people do. Just my 2 cents.

Im a shop forman at a peterbilt dealership. Ive been a mechanic all my life. Lol. A tech who doesnt respect a customers car usually has a very short career. Or maybe thats just at the dealerships ive worked for.

I suppose im judging off my experience and you know your area better then me. I did know the guys at pep boys really well and i still stayed to watch them change my oil. Same when i had my present car aligned after the rear suspension and axle upgrades. Guess im old fashioned expecting people to have pride in there work but i wouldnt put up with a tech being an *** in someones vehicle on my shift atleast. Hell i cut a guy loose for abusing a shop vehicle. I think people get away with too much crap these days without consequences. But that is the reality of present day in my opinion.

Got that right! I won't going into details but I had to steer my car around a pickup truck at the stop sign right into a four lane highway because the transmission company I hired to replace the clutch, slave and master cylinder forgot to put the locking clip back into place to keep the brake pedal from coming off the actuator. They told me they didn't have to remove this to replace the clutch master cylinder. The part costed about $3
That was several years ago when it was still stock. I rebuilt my entire drive line and when I lifted my car off the k member I couldn't help but notice all the dents and deep scratches from someone's use of a pry bar above the transmission bell housing and around where the stick shift goes. Never again!
