Default 10 second truck Project

So,

Over the last 8 years this project has been going on, I have made a few threads.

So, I am finally at the point, where everything is in place, and I am making some good horsepower.

I figured I would share the build thread, for anybody interested to look at it.

https://xtremeownage.com/index.php?t...e-racecar.323/

List of stuff to do before it hits a drag strip:

1. Add a proper gas pedal.
2. Need a driveshaft custom made.
3. Add a few gauges, and some warning lights.
4. Remove the factory fuel tank. Its extra weight, and has 6 year old gas inside of it.
5. Acquire some sticky tires, and 6-lug axles for the 14bolt.

Most people won't click thru to another outside thread. Don't take it personally.

Once I click through, it becomes hard to view your thread because I am not a member of that board. The ad content for guest viewers is onerous.

But anyways it sounds like a cool project. Direct post some burnout videos or dragstrip launches.

Just don't chew any gum in the videos 😆

Lol hey man I was just trying to be helpful

And yes if you post your stuff here, you might get some more comments. I usually don't even bother clicking on links to other forums due to the reasons just given by truckdoug

Fair enough. I usually post all of the pictures and videos back on my site, just to have documentation on my build. It also makes it easier when I do share it out to other sites.

Although- For the link to my board, it should load just fine, even for guests. I don't have any restrictions to force people to login to view content.

Def some nice parts in the engine-If your going to add gauges, take a look at
the Holley 3.5 screen. Its cheap when compared to a bunch of gauges, you can program
in diff amounts of gauges to view, and you can also program each thing to view with cautions,
so if out of range, they turn red.

For the time being, I have a simple bracket I fabricated to hold my tablet and pull up the Holley EFI app/gauges panel. When I have some excess $$ floating around, i am considering getting one of these:

Edit,

The 7" display does also have the advantage of freeing up a few input/outputs on the Holley HP. it can drive the fans and a few other simple things, through its own IO.

That thing is pretty sweet for sure. My buddy has one we stuck in his Chevelle. It is a little complicated because the data log can be done on that dash, separate, which is nice, but its just another aspect.

I might make a trip down to OKC just to fill a few barrels of E85. Lol.

There are not many places to get it up here in the 918 side.
