Gen 2 on3 7675
Well, my turbo gave up the fight 2 days ago (On3 7875). Was going to just rebuild it and let it ride, but then find out about the On3 Gen 2 unit. Says its good for a little over 1krwhp, anyone here have any experience with this unit? And is the compressor cover the same size as the Gen 1 unit? I ask because the compressor cover is very important aside don't have anymore room before i hit the radiator. I would call, but they are closed....kinda excited about this new turbo.

Agreed, not much info. Would be nice if they had something with more turbine but was still a 3 inch turbine/ downpipe exit, so this 6.0 could really cut loose. But i would settle for this, although hard....because I can get the rebuilt center for under $300 for the Gen 1.

This is doable, although I really don't want to pull the downpipe to re flange. I just got done studying it, and I just might be able to get it off without pulling the radiator. That would be primo.

If you are talking about the BMF, a guy local to me made 742rwhp through a TH400, built 5.3, lil John cam and I think 25lbs of boost...using a Huron speed kit.
I think the only comments were it spooled stupid fast (as in too fast and not rod friendly) and seemed to take a lot of boost to make power. He may be on this forum and able to give you more info.

Oh and the power did carry to 6800-7k where he left I off I believe. Car went bottom 9's at 147ish I think. It's a full weight fbody with cage, chute, etc.
edit it's an ON3 kit. No times in this video but I think he is on the limiter up top due to rear gears.

Well, that’s disappointing.
I’d think a well built 5.3 and 25psi should be in the neighborhood of 1000+ with something call a BMF Billet 76
of course, there’s a lot of variables to consider.

Let me see if I can get the exact details, don't want to lead anyone wrong.
The dyno was through an unlocked 400 & ET Street R's, so his weight and mph matter most, which I am also unsure of the most lol.
The fact that it carried the power to the limiter with that turbine says to me it's working, just maybe not as efficiently as we'd like to see.

That's also on a 5.3 where the 75mm turbine is better suited. I'd seriously try to find a turbo with a better suited turbine for a 6.0 I'm sure the back pressure at 20 psi is unreal and killing the power up top. I know I can feel the power nosing over on mine around 5800.

A 7675 that is good for over 1000 rwhp on an LS? Nope, not unless it's one of those happy dynos that's for sure. Only 76 that will do that is a fancy new Gen2 GTX Garrett or a cut down race class spec 76mm, both of which are 3 times the price and for good reason.

The cover is bigger on the Gen2. 3” outlet instead of 2.5”. It’s also double the price of the 78/75. I’ve thought about getting one. Doesn’t seem worth it at all though. I’m either going to stick with the 78 switch to a bigger single or go twins. I’m pretty sure the Gen2 would fit though. I bet the dimensions are really similar to a pte gets/cea.
