Default Procharger Clocking Help

First off. I’m new to prochargers. This will be the first one I’ve owned...

I was searching the forums for help with procharger clocking and came across bob@brutespeed with his previous name on here. In the post he had a link to a guide for procharger clocking but, the link is now dead.

Situation:

I have a 2011 Camaro SS. My engine threw a few rods.

With summer here and only 2 months of sunshine year round in Washington.

I bought a fresh built forged LS2 for a pontiac GTO with a D1SC. (I have taken care of all the engine differences by thread searching) I swapped all my front drive components onto the engine and the procharger bracket does not fit due to the fact that the power steering pump location is the same as the mounting location for the procharger. I have ordered the correct bracket from procharger that will be here this week. Kicker is.. procharger informed me that my procharger needs to be re-clocked for correct oiling. They said some people do it themselves but they don’t supply directions. It could be sent in to them or find directions. I was hoping to message bob on here but he does not accept messages.

End result:
I need to change the D1SC clocking from an ls2 GTO to a 2011 ls3 Camaro setup. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Anthony.

I haven't done one myself, but I know the drain has to end up in the 6 o clock position.
I sent mine back to have it done, but also wanted a health check on the unit itself.
Maybe Bob will jump in.

Thanks for the input force ind 👌🏼 After posting this I realized I might be able to get in contact with Bob by emailing him at brutespeed. (Doing what I can to get answers as quickly as possible.) He sent me a video link that I will also share below. Seems like an extremely straight forward job. Now I just need to know what position the gear needs to end up in for a 2011 Camaro SS.. my choices seem to be 10, 12, and 2 O’clock. The video said 10 O’clock was for a GTO. Which mine came out of as well. And the guy at procharger said it is a different position for my car. I will call procharger today and hope they can tell me the position. I just spent $1,300 for a second bracket so you would hope so?

Video link on how to clock procharger below:

It's pretty easy to do. I just clocked mine from 10 to 2. However, I sent it back to Procharger for them to move the dipstick shield to the new location and moved the tag back up (it was way down on the side after moving the volute, Mustang to Camaro). Plus the car isnt done anyway, so I just wanted them to inspect. They charge a $140 Inspection fee, plus moving dipstick shield and tag, the bill was like $210 shipped back to me. Once they got it, it was only 4 business days before they shipped it back. Plus peace of mind everything's good.

Clocking was extremely easy. I did it on my D1SC for a custom procharger bracket I made on a 70 challenger. Just use plenty of lube when pressing the oil slinger bearing back in (I actually put mine in the freezer too, doubt that helped, but it went in without too much trouble). I removed the dipstick shield and just plugged the procharger up top with a socket head bolt. I keep the dipstick handy for when I want to check it, but really no need to keep it in there. You can still check the oil without the shield, you just don't want to keep the dipstick dangling around in there without it.
