Default t4 88mm VS t4 to t6 adapter 88mm

Hey guys, I've been looking to upgrade my turbo. Currently I have a stock gen4 lq4 with a turbo cam (ls9 head gaskets| arp head studs), T4 turbo kit, all thru a tr6060. I'd like to aim for 800-850rwhp for now with the ability to go to 1000-1100rwhp in the future (probably a 370ci built short block)

Car is used for mostly street and a bit of drag racing when I have time.

I'm looking at a VS racing 88mm with the 1.25 backhousing in a T4 setup. But I see they have T4 to T6 adapter flanges available. Would it be better to go with the T4 version or move to a T4 to T6 adapter and go with a similarly sized t6 turbo instead? If so what turbo would you recommend?

I'd like to continue using this T4 turbo kit since it works and won't cost any extra instead of the added expense for getting a t6 based kit.

Do you have the room for a t6 sized turbo and required size downpipe, something like a t6 s480 is physically pretty big and is going to want a 4-5" downpipe/exhaust, but yes a T6 will support more power in the long run

I stood up the radiator so I think I should. If not I would definitely have to rework the turbo kit. Just trying to avoid that.

Stock with the t4 for now then later down the road IF you need to go bigger you always can but it's usually not just a bolt on and go type thing
