Guess you still couldn’t read the part where this cam will give you like 6 more hp. If you’re dumb enough to rip apart the whole front of a motor for that - serves you right for the almost unnoticeable power gains you get.

I'm just some random guy on the internet, but I wouldn't change to arp hardware for the rods or mains without having them resized afterwords.

I assumed mentioning new bearings with arp hardware implied machining for both but to be clear I wouldn't put any new bolts with extra clamping force in a motor without a way to measure clearance and money for a line bore and rod resize both a cheap insurance for a long lasting motor

I can pull the water pump, timing cover in a few minutes and I like a fresh timing set in my junkyard motors so I'm not pulling the WHOLE front of the motor for the cam swap.. Quit reading internet tales and go do some of your own testing.
