Help me fit a turbo in here....
it would either be hanging out the bonnet, mounted in front of a front wheel, mounted between engine and rad or rear mounted.
room looks tight for an A2A intercooler also.
looking at that bay a PD blower would be much easier to make work
transtunnel is even tighter less than 5mm.....
hoping for something between air inlet and rad, though dont know dimensions of t4 turbo.?
twins no room and cost esculates... maybe ok for twins one side butpedal box side compacted with RH drive etc

Getting exhaust into the turbo isnt always a problem....downpipe away from it can be
Up front doesnt look doable for a turbo though....PD style blower probably easiest option, although charge cooling may require some room for another rad up front.
I cant see you fitting a centri in there.
MP122 is the older Maggie blowers, so probably a good bit cheaper and what most Monaro guys would have used. Or some base kits used the 112 but I dont think they came with any charge cooling ability. Audio wise....would probably be better suited to such a car ?
I think a single rear mount is the best way to go with an A2W in the trunk if you are crazy enough.
A Heartbeat, Whipple, or something would be some voodoo as well in that go cart.
You think its gonna be hard to fit a turbo somewhere....what about the much larger problem of all the MESS of turbo piping that you will need. The exhaust manifolds for one....won't fit.
.
thanks for ideas.
When some of you say rear mount, do you mean upper or lower? Dont think i got room really for either...
Its also sidepipes on car which you may not see from pic.
even thought of nitrous kit and put fast 102 on it, though cant seem to find many local fill depots for nitrous.

Turbos in lieu of the sidepipes however....doable for sure

I'm sure if you contact Nitrous Express or Wizards of Noz they could point you in the direction of a fill station. But UK bullshit laws have made access to it a bit more difficult in past years because they class it as a drug or some nonsense so use/sales are more awkward for distributors.
But really, a well built 427 or the likes would be great for such a car too.
sidepipes have to stay more than i want a turbo..
playing around with ideas atm.
thought cast manifolds upside down forward and then into turbo near air inlet might fit..?
Will try to post more pics.

As said, getting into the turbo is one thing...getting a downpipe out is another and of course charge cooling although if low boost etc that could be worked around.
i did start a thread on here about what is smallest frame twins to have a look a while ago. Trouble is double the cost..
only want 550 to 600 rwhp, engine is not forged.
