6.0 with flat tops for boost

6.0 with flat tops for boost I picked up a 2004 6.0, in hopes it had the gen 4 rods/pistons, but they were gen 3's. I have found a
couple sets of gen 4 rods/pistons, but they are flat top's, prob would jack the comp to 10.0 with the
317 heads. Is anyone running that setup, I could prob lower the boost, and actually be a little more
power down low out of boost. Curious what boost you could run, 93 octane, intercooler, may add meth spray.
Running a 5.3 now with gen 4 rods, flat tops, 241 heads, just looking to move up in street power, low end torq.

6.0 wiseco flat tops with valve reliefs square port ly6 heads Holley hi ram. Stock compression was like 9.5 to 1 so it should still be close. Ly6 pistons are flat tops already. 5.7 iron block little over 10 to 1 compression 93 octane and dual meth nozzles on both one motor sees 23psi the other 19-20 so in my opinion your fine both use eBay intercooler and arp hardware in every hole which is what I think makes the difference. Also stock mls style auto zone head gaskets not cometic
Curious if you have had it on the dyno as it is and what it puts down? I just asked about 799 heads vs 241 heads on a L33. I know tons of guys on here use the 799 and the stock 10:1 the L33's have and throw tons of boost at them. I am swapping from a gen III 6.0 to a L33, so kind of reverse of what your doing. I don't want to destroy a good running 6.0 because of the need for more boost, so until I can do good rods/pistons, I figure the L33 is the ticket.
