You can run either high or low ohm injectors.

Hummm, does it run either hi or low impendence injectors? I was thinking of ordering a set of 70lb'ers because they are the largest I know of that work with a stock pcm
The stock injectors are low impedence... I have some bosch 160lb here that are low impedance. I would'nt waste my time running the system in non peak and hold (high impedance injector) system....

Which PCM are you talking about when you are refering to stock injectors?? Are you talking about the LS1 PCM or Microtech. The LS1 PCM drives only High Z injectors. So you would have to have either the microtech box or the LJ convertor box.

it wouldbe great if they were low hz, then we could just plop in some like 90lb injectors, no one would need to used alky or meth

I run the factory PCM on my system , 383LS1,A4,Whipple blower running at 14lb using a 2 bar map sensor - we have also added extra code for water injection and the fuel pump driver.
Closed and open loop mixtures are perfect as is full drivability.
On the stock motor it ran a 11.7 in my Monaro @ 7psi before we did the engine and boost upgrade.

How did you get a 2-bar map to run on your car?

I'm very interested in that to... Are the signal outputs from the 2-bar scaled the same for the max readings?

Did you rescale the tables then too...

The stock pcm won't read positive pressure from the map senser. In order to run a 2 or 3 bar map the operation code in the pcm has to be rewrote to read the positive manifold pressure.
I've got a buddy of mine thats working on rewriting the pcm to work with a 2bar map. I'm gonna be testing it on my car so we'll see how it goes.

Run low z injectors with stock PCM..

I'm still thinking microtech at minium.... For my dual fuel (4 rails 16 injectors) I'll need a staged injection system... Gas starts and idles nice and you get good MPG at cruise... 8 huge alcohol injectors will kick in gradually, eventually taking over as boost builds...

For gas only folks the versafueler should be OK....
