Unless you are running a big oil cooler, stick with whatever the stock recommendation is for the pan.
What temp is the oil running at now? What do you do with the car? Street toy? Road race? Drag race?
Once you figure out what temps your oil sees during all forms of driving, then decide if you need an oil cooler.
You need to get the oil above 212* F to burn off moisture.
My twin turbo car is a toy and I have a 48 row oil cooler with 10AN lines. My temps will get into the 240s and 250s if I drive the car hard on a hot summer day. Most of them time, they are in the 230s.

oil cooling needed ? Monitor your oil temp and decide for whatever environment and usage you will see.
