C5 Vortech Kit
Initial Tuning with S-Trim using the 28 + 32 Cog setup.
579rwhp

MTI 9.4:1 Forged Shortblock
Comp 218/224 .568 114 LSA
Patriot LQ9 Heads 2.02/1.60
Cometic .052
TPIS Headers
42# SVO
Racetronix + KB BAP

Still working out some minor bugs.

A freeze plug popped off by the firewall of all things

Someone said 5.5#, but that sounds low. Unless the heads are flowing really well. Not sure they were paying attention to boost numbers while doing the timing and A/F.

I thought it would be more around 8#.
This cog setup should put around 10-11# on a stock LS1.
They were re-tightening the belts also a bit.

I think the TQ was 535rwtq also.

It's been almost 2 years in the works.
Finally getting it installed.


Fixed the head freeze plug that popped out.
We hit 579rwhp later in the day. Haven't seen final TQ.

We're at 6psi now. Found the reason for low boost.
The dyno guys are getting off the power at 6000rpm.
Not sure what 6500 will look like.


We may have some minor coolant pressurization issues.
Crossing fingers it's not a head/block problem.
We're hoping it's just a bad radiator cap.
