5.3 to 500hp at the wheels?

I have an 06 L59 5.3 I would eventually like to get 500hp to the wheels, it's going in an 93 Cherokee so I don't think turbo would be the way to go for crawling and such. As it sits right now it has a TSP, Stage 2 Low Lift 212/218, .550"/.550" 112 LSA ls6 springs, comp pushrod, LS7 lifters. Would a supercharger be the most efficient way to hit that point? If so what style? Any input helps. Thanks!

For crawling you need low to midrange torque not peak hp. A PD blower might get the job done.

I'm not super familiar with what a "PD blower" please excuse my ignorance.

LSA blower will likely be the cheapest blower option.

positive displacement that bolts to the top of the engine. A LSA blower would probably be the best option for your needs as Joe Nova mentioned. Google search will yield plenty of results on how and where to get the swap parts needed. Its a pretty popular option.

Both Magnuson and Edelbrock make good products. I personally really like the Magnuson Heartbeat systems, but sadly they don't offer them for cathedral port headed engines, only for LS3 style heads. Magnuson also focuses on selling complete kits for certain vehicles. A lot of what would be included in the kits you may not be able to use on your Cherokee.
