Found a good location for a vacuum block
The bracket to mount was pretty easy to make using a 1 1/2" aluminum angle squeeze together in a vice so it was at the correct angle. Using Map gas and a small torch I welded a one inch piece of aluminum bar to it for easy mounting. The vacuum block attaches to my bracket with two stainless bolts. I used Harbor Freight aluminum welding rods. For this bracket it is more than enough for strength.
The Racetronix hot wire kit includes a 36 inch harness that is connected either at the battery or the alternator with the other end of the harness connecting to the Hobbs switch.
It can't get much easier than that to plug it together. Kudos to Racetronix for such a well thought out wire harness. One plug on the harness for the Hobbs switch and second pump with the other plug to complete the circuit for the primary pump. All in an easy location to switch periodically each pump to prolong life of both pumps rather than running the primary all of the time. The red for now runs the primary and the blue for boost runs the secondary pump. Later to even out hours on each pump just switch the plug ends - visible just to the right of the two fuses for each pump and near each fuse box.
I added a pic to show how to level the dual pumps on the 98 swing arm. Although Racetronix includes a bracket to hold the pumps, the pumps and bracket has to be raised to same height as original single pump and also deep enough on the hanger for the filters. You do have to cut off the end of the hanger but leave the rubber bumper. I trimmed the sender bracket, added two standoffs and drilled two holes in the hanger. IMO much better than band clamping it to the hanger.
A suggestion to Racetronix is to modify the bracket with two extra bends on their bracket to raise it off the the hanger so it's level and deep enough in the tank when mounted on the hanger. That, however, would require a bracket specific for the 98 hanger.

Agree but didn't know what brand to get. Would like to find same tubing as what came with my big red ATI race valve and run all nylon tubing. It is connected to the valve with a male/female compression fitting. Would be nice to have the same connections and line at the vacuum block for all lines.
Problem with current vacuum lines is dry rot and one reason why I chose the location for the vacuum block - easy to see and replace line ends when they appear to be cracking.
