Is there any place to see his build. The fifth Gen I'm doing is pretty much a race car that I can tag and do no trailer style street events. Rollcage and rear suspension are the last big things we need to plan out. Thought about a straightaxle swap mostly for price since I can do the build and conversion in my own shop.
Quick update. Motor is in, but I can't seem to get it to run. It fires off, but then dies immediately afterwords. Almost like there's a security, or bcm issue. Anyone seen anything with security or bcm act like this? I've also noticed that the radio, door locks, climate control, and other odd stuff is not working as well. Here's a quick video.
Car starts and idles now. Ended up being the previous tune on the car. It was setup to run MAF only, and I am running SD. The old tune had the MAF fail test setup not to run based on ECT. Was this table in the tune if anyone else ever comes across it.
Threw some exhaust on the car and was able to start it up. All sounds well so far.
Still plugging away at the tune, and various other things to get a good foundation to start from. Ordered some new front runners and got them in today as well.
