you prob won't make it past about 12 psi before you start floating the valves. In my experience anyway that's about the spot, different engines and turbos will act different. Best to throw some pacs in and be set imo. They're cheap enough.

EDIT, especially if you're gonna pull it all apart and gap the rings.

I -think- I will gap them 0.028 and 0.030" so that as I turn the wick up, I am less likely to break it.

But part of me thinks I will be perfectly fine sticking to 15psi, in which case I would run .022" and 0.024" or maybe .024" and 0.026".

I haven't decided. It's just going to be my daily; never taken to the track.

from what ive read you need to gap rings if above 14 lbs of boost .thats why im doing ring gap . i dont wanna open the block right now . i may just settle for 13=-14 lbs for awhile an when i put cam in pull the block then . i jus wanna get it running right now

I Think i can do 600s with e85 and 12 or 15 psi easy. everyone has been saying so that it shouldnt be a problem.

im switching because i live down the street from a e85 station. so i shouldnt have a problem fueling and its so much better for the car since im going F.I
