Default 700r4 an a 6.0 ls

will a 700 r 4 bolt to a 6.0 ls ? an if so where do you get the brackets for the tv cable . what needs to be done to survive behind a 6.0 with a 7875 turbo with about 600 whp

it will bolt up. but think the torque converter snout is different.
You "might" be able to put a late model input drum with the correct spline input shaft and use an LS converter. I've never done it because it seems *** backwards to me, if your doing a 6 liter then why not do the computer controlled 4l60e instead? You'll catch hell trying to tune your shift firmness, kick down and shift points with a 700r. the 4l60e is cake.

what do you need to make it live? Alot. I have a thread on my current build.
but in short:

aftermarket higher clutch capacity input drum (sonnax smart tech drum or 4L79 drum)
input and out put shafts
billet servo
billet accumulator pistons
tight clutch clearance on the 3-4
wide band
new low reverse drum
upgraded sun shell
AND alot more

thanks kfxguy i already have the 700r4 it came with the 88 irocz . i was jus wondering if it would be worth it to rebuild it . i was planning on going th400 .im only looking for about 600 athe wheels. i might look into a 4l80 e . i think i would like overdrive after thinking on it
