Default Cam swap needed?

Hey folks, changing from a 408 to a 427 and I'm curious if I'm able to reuse the same cam or if i'll be leaving some on the table.

Setup is as follows
427 about 10.2:1 compression
Frankenstein LS3 heads w/stainless valves
236/246 638/622 114+4 cam
D1SC maxed out today 3.4 pulley moving to a F1a94 later
TH400 about a 4000 stall
Car is 3850 with me in it.
car ran 9.9@ 140 doing some testing on the foot brake

for 19 cubic inches? I'd just put the same cam in unless you are looking for every last hp. anytime you go bigger engine, the bigger engine can tolerate a bigger cam, but it depends on what the intended use is.

guess i'm more curious on the sizing for a 427 with that cam. It was recommended for my 408, but I'm not sure if it was right then either LOL

For a max effort drag car it’s kinda small. If it’s a street car that’s a driver and you like good manners, it will probably give you that and a good power curve. If it’s not a driver or a max effort car, but you don’t mind a rowdy cam, you could do something like a 242/258 or something like that. I wouldn’t though. Just turn the boost up if you want more.
