Turbo feed line

Hello I have turbo 5.3 and was wondering if anyone is takinfg off the low oil level sensor and using it rather than drilling and tapping the oil pan? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

The drain need to be above the oil level in the pan so the drain won't work.

I was thinking that it was too low, just didn’t know if anyone tried it before or not
