anyone have any ideas on a TV cable/throttle setup for this... LOKAR most likely but is it TPI style? looking for right mount for the cables... thinkinh the 3 holes on the plenum are the bracket mounts but can't get info on what to use - I am running a 200 4R so that makes things trickier with a non computer trans behind an LS and sourcing stuff...

Im not familiar with anything you have there... but it wouldn’t be very hard to take a piece of flat stock... drill two holes to mount it and a third hole for the cable... then use a brake or vise to bend it 90* and bam... you have a cable mount.

The Lokar throttle cable mount on my car (ls6 intake) doesn’t look like it would work in your application

Your car is a beauty, I love the color! Great setup you're getting together, I'd love to do a 200 4r too. That whipple will be great.

I have ran into several situations where just fabbing something up actually took less time than wading through the mountain of bullshit that google delivers to your inquiry. Yours is likely one of those situations.

Looks good! That is a sweet set up. Only other big thing I didn't see mentioned I would definitely think about is swapping those factory GM head bolts for ARP studs. Those B15's will take some abuse and hold power for sure, but those bolts will not. I personally wouldn't trust them at your 1100 hp goal.

Sweet setup, in for more pics and videos.

I know a guy with the B15 (with the stock cam) and a single turbo, car ran 8.40s like a bracket car.

been doing hood fitments - have 2 now - one stock hood ( relieved underneath - and another with a double width steel cowl I made ) - they're in paint waiting on me to get em done - have yet to do minor stuff like a few hoses for the cooling system and the intercooler pump and tank - and a few little electrical hookups and we are done. If I didn't have so much aircraft work in house I'd have been done - but since that's how I pay for it all - I'm not complaining too too much.
It'd take realistically about a weekends worth of work to get it going now - but i'm just doing it at lunch etc a little at a time. have the 4.5 in pulley on for the initial break in/shakedown - going to be methodical and conservative with the setup/tune until I'm comfortable we aren't going to break anything.

This is so right.
Something about a full size Chevy with a ridiculous amount of roots blower power is just plain perfection.

had a small setback - was all fueled/fluids in everything and ready to fire - small issue w the serp. drive - got that cleared up and now going back together - decided to take the corner trim and make it functional as somewhere to get a little air...

The answer to your question involves probably the most fun hour and a half of my life punctuated by the twisting and cleanly shearing the O/D shaft on the trans. It was built for 1200plus HP - my guy warrantied it - it should be back next week and I'll stab it back in. ( in the meantime - been looking at TH400/gear vendors OD setups - still may do that, I have a cpl other project cars I could put the 2004R into. Back to the details - spent a lot of time learning the tuning aspect - was extra careful and conservative with it before we drove. went for a shakedown drive with the laptop hooked up for datalogging - at times she made 18.5 lbs of boost and it took off as hard from 80 mph as it did from a stop... don't think I can get a tire that small to hold it back from spinning at any speed... ( P295/65/15 MT SS Radials) Never took it over 6k RPM - on the run where she broke, I just hit the rev limiter coming up on a light that turned green before I had to stop, mashed the foot feed, hit rev limiter, went to go again and had nothing but neutrals...!!! but - sitting at the side of the road I made like 4 new friends from folks stopping to look at the car or see if I needed help... there's a plus.
It is much more refined in traffic as compared to the carbed LS3 it replaced - very drive-able - sounds like a stock corvette until you tip in the throttle and the supercharger wails....you immediately become Neil Armstrong on a Saturn V rocket. anyway - I'll be sure and video it - probably once it's back together I will take it to Thunder Valley for test and tune Friday nite and video it there... in a "safer' environment ( safer meaning I'll have my truck and trailer with me! )

Cool build. In the first few pictures the belt wrap/tensioner setup doesn't look ideal but I could be wrong.
