Schoneck Bracket Hearing some mixed results on this bracket and I’m wondering if anyone can give some of their experiences. I’ve heard belt alignment can be a pain, but once it’s locked in you’re good. Another person mentioned belts breaking and even breaking the snout off the crank. I’m assuming this was over tightened, but who knows. I’ve seen some other pics of the main crank pulley hitting the bracket. Not sure if that was the crank flexing or what...
I’ve ran the aster bracket with the 7.65/3.4 setup and was happy, but I’ve sold that setup when I got my new motor as a package due to thinking I would go turbo. And I’m seeing this being the best option for a bigger setup.
I plan on pushing a f1a-94 with my new setup so I’m not sure if the aster is a good choice still and changing a belt/pulley is a pain.
Open to any and all other solutions that have worked for you.
