Default Choosing twins. 6speed 6.0

There's a bunch of threads with similar questions. I know. I've gone through them, check post histories. Most are unfinished projects where I couldn't see the results. I want to have my hand held and feel confident about a purchase. It's a 72 Nova. I have a 6.0 LQ9, sloppy 2 cam, pac 1218 springs, and ARP head bolts. T56 Magnum, twin disk clutch, and cheap ebay up and forward headers. Mostly street car but I probably care more about what will work better at a drag strip. I want to make 700whp but have something that maxes out around 1000whp for the future. I have e85 around me. I know I can just get some BW 366 but I want it to be an efficient setup. If I was going to order right now, I'd get a pair of BW s362s. Already over budget. So those would be my max on budget.

Have you looked at Precisions entry level stuff? They have a few turbos in that range 58-62mm range for $850 or less each. Granted someone will say use some chinese stuff like on3, vs, etc which is an option that will save you some duckets but that's up to you.

No, I didn’t really see them get recommended in other threads and assumed they were $$. I’ll browse their stuff. I’ve seen a thread from a guy that used twin vs racing gt35s which are only $500 for the pair. He made 700ish. I don’t want to have temporary turbos and redo hot and cold side. I’d rather just do everything once. Around $1500 is my max budget though.

If you want the 362's, just buy them ? They are a good value unit.

Or to push budget a little lower and older, the old cast 360's or 363's

At the cheap end of smaller units, these would easily do 700, and maybe at a push might hit 1k. AGP's own kits do seem to make good numbers on the Gen5's with small turbos.

Or the 360's

Or there are a variety of Holset HX40's that are reliable units for not huge money.

No doubt some of the Chinese options are quite good these days too, I'd prefer to stick with known and trusted performers though

I would go S362 or S366 if you don't ever want to feel the need to change them.
