I was walking around and heard him doing a burnout/staging the car and knew it was something different lol so I walked over and caught a glimpse of it going down the track. I just guessed at the times knowing what some of the other cars run. Sorry I didn’t mean any disrespect or to misrepresent his car.

Launching!
I've seen a few first-gen Camaros w/ 2jz's in them.

Ben, awesome man! Subscribed to the channel. You're not the first though you'll be the 2nd. 10 yrs ago a guy did a 2Jz swap into a 4th Gen TA, believe it was blue but I think he just went the N/A route. You're the first to do a documented build though. It's still a first of something though!

Seems like alot of work to make less power with a less tractable engine that acts like a light switch.
If you were looking for unique there are plenty of other engines out there with terrible tractability you coulda used and likely plenty with better.

They might not expect it but you definitely wouldn't be able to conceal it considering a 671 Detroit is 5 feet long and over 4 ft tall

Stock junk yard 4.8 with 200 dollar turbo makes more power. Down with rice. Down with rice! DOWN WITH RICE!!!! DOWN WITH FNG RICE YO!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! LET'S BURN THIS MOTHER ****** DOWN!÷!! AAAAAAHHHHHH. RIIIIICE!! FNG RICE LOVER!!!!! RRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIICE!!!!!!!
Joking. I feel better now.
Aren't those motors heavy as F? They are like bull dozer engines. But do whatcha want to do. Certainly can't argue about the HP potential. Do those mate up to GM V8 transmission's easily?

If he did the 671 detroit he could cut the car in half behind the front seats and make bulkheads and bolt the frame to both sides of the engine using the block as a frame member. Ricardo trans on the back to drive the wheels. Now he has extended the frame to help with stability and made it mid engine for wieght distribution. No hood scoop or extended steering column needed. Would be super original and just like the c8 vette only nothing like it and really stupid.

That's cool. I'm not a brand loyalist so I don't care. It's not like you're cutting up a rare vintage muscle car. Engine swaps are the essence of Hot Rodding.
