Default Aster bracket tensioner

Hey everyone got a question
Got my aster bracket/supercharger all in and setup. I had my idler on the middle bolt hole and was getting jumping, so i moved it to the furthest bolt hole. !t this point my belt/tensioner is very tight (photos taken with car not running. Tensioner line is slightly further than top mark on the tensioner housing)
When the car is idling theres an occasional metal/metal tapping. Its looking like the tensioner is topping out? And tapping against the bracket. Is this detrimental? Am i going to break anything with it like that? Am i okay to run it see if it slacks up? Or do i need to buy a longer belt?

hmm, ive never noticed that on mine . I also run mine on the middle setting . That looks like it will wear on its own , or you could take it back off and grind it down some .
