Default Recommendations on good floor shifter for 4l80

Hey guys.. so just like the title says I知 lookin for Recommendations on good floor shifter for a 4l80.. I知 finishing up a 6.0 turbo swap into my little Nissan 300zx and ready to get a shifter.. I need a fairly low profile one to fit under the shifter console.. and I知 kinda leaning towards the b m pro stick ..with the ball handle. I知 not real hip on the pistol grip but have read good things about the tci outlaw.. anywho I知 open to suggestions. Thanks in advance..!

TCI fastgate works well if you don't need reverse lockout or anything other than a good working shifter.

Buy it from Century Performance though not from Precision directly.

I vote quicksilver. No special levers, and only requires one hand.

Unless your manually shifting it, why? Adapt any gm shifter from 1994/+ .

For me it was getting the geometry to feel good from park all the way to low. This original poster though isn稚 in a gm. I could get it all like I wanted but at the time I was trying to get a D1 transbrake to be crisp and the factory shifter and the different cables I tried I just never liked the ends of the spectrum. I got close though with a b&m cable, lowered the ball that I installed on the stock shifter with a precision products 4l80 arm and pan bracket. The arm and bracket for a 80 is the trick. There are posts where guys merged two to make one and used the stock cable with good results. I decided screw it and bought the shifter.

Now I have pulled the early 80 and d1 and put a late in with stock valve body. The late prndl makes life much easier if you want reverse lights and the nss to work. Had I had this 80 in it initially I might have left the last version of my stock style shifter in it since d1 wasn稚 so important any longer.
