Default need help asap!! Incon scavenge pump

I just started the install of my stage 2 incon kit and I cant tell where the scavenge pump connects for the oil to get back into the motor. Do I have to drill a hole in the oil pan or does the scavenge pump attach somewhere else for the oil to circulate back into the motor?

Answered your PM, it should clear it up and with no drilling.

What was the answer? My install was done by drilling into the pan . . .

He removed the oil level sensor, installed a -8 AN fitting with a viton o-ring, followed by a check valve (optional) then a flex hose to the oil pump.

Its up to you, but you may want to keep that oil level sensor. I've seen bursts of higher than normal oil consumption when the pump valve was going despite not having visible oil smoke in the exhaust.

If you use it, check the oil level a lot.

You could also route it in the oil drain port. You would install a tee fitting so you could still drain the oil. Oil level sensor was easier for me just because I could reuse the Incon hoses and fittings. I would not rely on the oil level sensor to safe your engine, since the light will not come on until you have a couple of quarts of oil left in the pan. Only problem I have had is that the low oil light wont go off. Even if I delete the code in ls1-edit it will reappear after a few miles. Guess I will have to either pull the bulb or put a resister in the connector.
