I'm doing twin 66 garretts in a 87 c10 with log style manifolds . I'm very tight on space with a/c . I don't want to run "soft" return oil drains because they will be about 1/2" from manifold . so is their a universal flex line ? Or any other idea ? Passenger side mocking up hard lines
The detroit 60 series diesel engine had a 2 ft long drain pipe that had flexible sections in it. One end mounts to the drain flange the other is a -10 or -12 female end. Not sure the flange is correct but if you go to a frieghtliner dealer im sure they would let tou measure before buying.
Just do exactly what you're already doing and every OEM does.
Simple steel pipe down past any harm areas, with a short connection of oil hose between it and the block section.
Doesnt get any easier, better flowing and more reliable.
Peoples fascination with using AN fittings for oil drains....is a little odd, when they're so bulky outside, yet they are so small diameter inside. Plus usually inconvenient compared to the simple options.
