Garrett Turbo selection for a 6.2 ls9

Default Garrett Turbo selection for a 6.2 ls9
got a sweet LS swap GMC syclone project im doing using a built Darton sleeved LS9 block (gonna find the limits of these blocks with dartons). truck will be a max race weight of around 4000lbs and ill be looking for a twin BB Garrett set up with 1600whp potential that spools quickly. I have no idea how to properly spec a turbo out so looking for advice from the pros.. Currently looking at the GTW3684R turbo if any one knows if that should work for my goals and application? also what A/R? t3 or t4? divided or undivided?

It takes 160 to 170 lbs/min to make 1600rwhp. That turbo even as twins makes 120 maybe 140 if pushed extra hard.

How about the new g series turbos? Maybe 2 of the g35-900s? Not sure how they compare in price to the old GTX stuff.

x2 the referenced turbo is basically a 62/62. If the op wants to stick with Garretts GTW line then I would do at least the GTW3884 as that will get him closer to the proposed goals.

Also for the OP - no reason to use divided turbines on a LS twin turbo setup.

The GTW's dont seem too unreasonably priced and they seem compact ( not as compact as the G series though )

But there are no lack of turbo options of any type these days !
