Why do you need a prototype for dimensions? Don't you have a 3D model of these with dimensions?

It has to do with a Non-Disclosure Agreement on electronic files. We've now scanned in the LS on our own and will be able to disseminate that information without approval from the owner of the CAD models

I wonder how much it would take. They make K member spacers to gain more cowl/hood clearance for blowers, wonder if the same could be used for these manifolds.

That's not gonna fit in 4th gen. Unless the dowpipes point strait out the hood

I've ordered one, even though I've gone out an eyeballed my 96 z28 with a screen shot of the manifold in my hand to compare. As is, yeah, there's no way short of sawing into the cowl. But I'm going to see if I can mount an offset on it that will get it away from the cowl enough to get it on there. I need things to mess with during bad weather. Still finishing my current twins for the moment.

Which raises a further question which is are they down pipes when they point straight out the hood?

Hello all! We received the first samples and have submitted changes to the foundry. The COVID-19 situation has delayed our second production proofing samples a bit and we're going to be behind schedule on pre-order delivery.
We'll have 2nd production sample ETA this week and then will provide an up to date timeline on delivery schedule.

Heard from them today. This is from Leroy Lopez (Operations manager) at Armageddon
"We will have LS turbo manifolds available soon. The release date has been delayed by a month or two. https://goturbo.net/arm-lsx-manifolds-armageddon-lsx-pro-series-turbo-exhaust-manifolds-preorder-deposit
We expect them to arrive mid to late next month. Feel free to call us directly if you have any questions 505-672-8112"

I ping them every month. They're still evaluating the prototypes and quality of castings.
