c6 manifold keep AC using T6 pic request
Based on searches, it seems like a good setup to achieve this involves using a Griffen GRI-1-25241-X with a pair of Flex-A-Lite 430 pusher fans. A 1/8" bung welded on radiator for steam vents hookup and a pair of SPE-7769 as the upper and lower rad hose will no longer fit. The AC condenser is mounted in front of the Griffin, which stands up. I was thinking a Tredstone TR124528 for the intercooler
The idea is to get the most out of the combo while still keeping it somewhat reliable, so shooting for a max of 1100 rwhp on 110 octane
402ci
283 heads LS9 head gaskets
Diamond pistons 11520-R1-8 (9.5:1 compression)
Callies Compstar 6.125 rods
K1 58x 4' stroke crank
ARP head studs and main studs
I'm assuming a T6 88 or 91mm with big A/R is needed to get there, but I've also read that a S488 ETR Billet T4 with 1.25 A/R may get the above combo to 1100 rwhp but at how much back pressure? I wonder if with enough custom work can twin Borg S366sxe turbos with garrett turbo .81 AR housings work with AC. After reading about these C6 manifolds enabling you to keep AC so long as a single turbo is used, I'm now considering that route. Sound like a really tight fitting PITA setup. As for spooling, it's a 402 so I don't think any of the combos above are going to be too laggy on the street. It's going to be tuned for pump 93 and 650hp.
Mounting would be similar to:
