Yes you will be fine. When I used to have small id1300s I used to cut down to e50 full time so I had just enough injector to run the power I wanted

Had alot of data on it and I never had an issue period at an honest 1k hhp

It does take a nice bite out of the BSFC demand.

Just like the study shows you are going to gain around 12% worth of fuel capacity going from 85% to 50%

I'm going to try to stay in the E60 - E70 range. That's gotten me from a one time injector duty cycle of 97%, down to a high of 78%, without touching anything. I did swap the alternator, but that only ended up adding a consistent .5 volt of charging, so who knows what, or if, that helped enough to show. I still may upgrade the feed line size if track doesn't open soon.

Thanks to everyone for all the feedback and info.

The sensors and the test tube kits can all read incorrectly based on water content. In my exp. they are still great! I really like having the adjustment on "the fly" on my street car. I still "tube test" for the "Race car". But putting a sensor on it is defiantly on the to do list. I think the variances people see are due to water content as shown here. Either way I keep it around 60-65% and have zero issues on 19lbs without an IC... Seeing intake temps around 220-240 on a hot day. So that should tell you its still a great fuel at lower percentages.

Also throw in that this is a low compression 241 headed 5.3 with 20 gph of water/meth pre-turbo(s). Don't want to claim miracles, this is in no way a super powerful setup for a twins near 20lbs. Fun for a street toy on 245 nittos though! I didn't think it would go this far on a "hot air" car to be honest. Plugs keep telling me it would take more, so I ran it until the fuel system was maxed. (80lb injs)

Ah, that 20 gph of water/meth is pulling out a crap load of heat I bet.

No idea how much I'm spraying honestly. It's a SSR varying pressure as boost rises. Only run a peak of about 35%. Was noticeably sluggish if I ramped it all in. Which I am actually using to my advantage. I hit it pretty hard right when boost builds to dumb down power for traction. Then taper DC down and back up. Brings power in less violently. But yea, it's pulling some heat for sure!

I was all hyped to try a progressive and finally said screw it and did it on the boost switch. Once it hits somewhere between 5 and 10 psi it comes in full, no bog or anything, but its a single M10 nozzle.

Generally all that's needed for small volumes esp with high water %. I do the same on my intercooled RX-7 w washer fluid. I wanted to wire the SSR into the MS3 and play on this setup though. Figured I'd need more aux cooling and might need alot of volume. Not really the case is seems. Wish I could go straight METH, but I don't want to deal with the O-rings swelling and possible leaks, so I run 50/50. I think I'd benefit a lot and be able to carry out my fuel system quite a bit with a progressive 40gph of straight meth. Should be good for an additional crank 200hp or so. I may get the itch if the track opens up again and try it anyway! 25lbs has a nice ring to it! lol.

Yeah I've been loving the benefits of even simple windshield washer fluid. Between being a rear mount, having an A2A, AND water/meth my IAT's are hilarious even down south and its already hot out here.
