Setting up knock sensors Ive got a LSX B15 Gm crate motor, came with factory 2 wire knock sensors, anyone know what is the correct mhz frequency and best sensitive level
I found some info on web saying cylinder size of 4.065 should be set to 5.9mhz requency - anyone else with that cyclinder size, what freq are you running at?
and also what kind sensitive level? i know thats depended on exact engine, camshaft etc, but a ball park fig would be a good start, the ls7 cam in that engine is quite mild, so not too much noise from that
all controled by holley dominator ecu

There's no point in over thinking it because the Holley knock strategy isn't very glamorous anyway. I use the settings below with my LS7 and it has never once retarded timing due to knock so I can promise it won't go nuts on you. Does it work? Who knows. I don't allow knock. I tune as if I have no knock sensors because I don't trust the Holley knock strategy one bit.
