Used the factory Ground Trigger wires to trigger my new relays, and have fans on full power when triggered. Fan 1 at 185* and Fan 2 at 190*, which I may tinker around with the temps...Hottest it ever got at end of a run, was 199*.
Their positioning, puts Fan 1 closest to the turbo, which actually proved to help lower IAT's. The HIGHEST IAT I saw in 3 passes this past Saturday, was 129*, and that was at the hottest part of the day. The ambient was hotter than the week before, and the air was horrible...2800ft+ DA, and 128 water grains, which is way worse air than the runs posted in original reply of mine above...
Heck yeah! Post up when you get it done.
After 1st pass this past Saturday, I stopped by the scale, and it is a little lighter than I guessed...still PHAT though, lol..
4065# with me (300ish) in it, and 1/2 tank of fuel.
My "scramble button" works, as does my converter lockup...Not enough to go past 1st round, but not bad for 1st actual race this year.
Leaving just above idle, ie; No Boost...
1st Time Run:
R/T: .028, 60': 2.05, ET: 11.66@124.7
2nd Time Run:
R/T: .020, 60': 1.98, ET 11.56@125.0
1st Round:
R/T: .039, 60': 2.02, ET 11.54@126.9, Dial In: 11.50...Car I raced ran a 10.08 on a 10.08 dial in, and had a slightly better .030 R/T...Not an easy task to beat that. But I did confirm my lockup works, as does my scramble button...just didn't hit it soon enough, lol
