Question Turbo or not on LS3

I have a 625 lift cam in my 3300 LB car and I was wondering if I would loose bottom end by going with a rear mount turbo? Under the hood turbo is out of the question. I am in the middle of this new build and before i run the exhaust I just had a thought about going turbo?

You won’t “lose” bottom end torque adding a turbo. Rear mount vs front there will be a huge difference in how it drives and performs. This is minimized by careful turbo and pipe sizing... but it just won’t be as efficient.

that said there are cars in the 7s is it’s rear mount setups.. so they do work.

My response and low-end torque is nuts on my rear mount. It's all about proper setup and details.

And your engine bay isn’t cluttered lol.

I think a oil free turbo and a rear mount would be a prettt bitching setup for tight builds.

it’s that oil return that always keeps me from rear mounts

Ive done several front mount turbo Fbodys. This is my first rear mount.... Not sure I'd go back front mount unless I was building a track only car. It's SO nice having space under the hood to work and running the AC on FL summer heat and the coolant temps don't move lol.
