Default New motor w/D1SC setup using oil?

Ive notice my newly rebuilt 346 with a D1SC kit has been using oil. My PCV set is just two filters, One on each valve cover. Is this adequate for a supercharged setup?
I really dont smell any oil in the engine bay at all. Dont notice any smoke coming out the exhaust. The car runs good.
Any ideas?

No leaks, no smoke and no fouled plugs so its got to be going somewhere. Do you have any pics you could post up and are you able to see if oil is getting up into the induction system?

The obs thing would be the PCV valve, but since your not using that, what else is hooked to the vac. side of the engine. Anything hooked to the inlet of the Procharger.

Heres a picture of what I have. I have nothing hooked up to the inlet of the blower. I do have a check valve as you can see that comes off the intake and goes to the passenger side valve cover.

OP the passenger side should not be hooked into the intake manifold it should be hooked to the throttle body and also no PCV valve. You are most likely sucking too much oil into the intake manifold.

Since you have breathers on both valve covers go ahead and cap of the intake and valve cover ports and see if that does not clear up your oil consumption.

Do you have the rear port on the passenger valve cover capped off as well?

Notice the PCV valve at the end of the line just before the intake port.

In that first pic, you are prob creating a vac leak, and as said, sucking oil. I use that port for my PCV valve in the D/S VC, and have a cheapie oil sep. and ck valve so I dont blow boost into the crankcase.

Yes, it is capped off.
Thanks for the help. I will do what you reccomended and see if that helps.

BTW, I inspected my intake. I didnt see any "pools" of oil but there is what looks like a mist inside it.

If you are going to take the time to rework your PCV system you should do a catch can setup and be done with it.

It shouldn't be connected at all. The way it's setup now, it's drawing air through the valve cover breathers into the intake. There's no benefit to connecting either valve cover to any vacuum port with breathers.

Hey Skinny I know! It's why I even bothered to post. The breathers alone on the valve covers are enough to ventilate the crank case and the only issue I see there is that your not pulling a vacuum on the crank case which would increase air circulation which has its benefits. I would run in stock form as previously mentioned but run the driver valve cover and passenger rear cover to a sealed catch can mounted on the front of the passenger cylinder head and from the can through a PCV valve and then to the intake manifold. As for the front port on the passenger valve cover it SHOULD be connected to the port on the throttle body or in the intake tube between the MAF and throttle body.

The car has a blower... Pressurizing the crankcase sounds silly.

Forgot about that....lol

I'm LSX 427 NA and I modified my valve covers to accept 10AN bungs. I'm only running one breather can but would opt for second one in a forced induction situation.
